Winmau World Masters – last 16 Results
The last 16 coverage started on the BBC at 1pm today (sat 30th Oct) – and a great game kicked it all off (leg by leg detail below). BUT: Come on BDO/BBC – the ‘last 16′ round games started at 9am this morning (9am!!? WHO PLAYS DARTS THAT EARLY!). So the coverage is hardly ‘from the last 16 round’ is it? Two measly games. The BBC coverage of darts is pretty laughable and dis-respectful to the sport of darts. Unfortunately the BDO powers at be allow the BBC to dictate when their tournaments are played – a major darts tournament being played from 9am – 4.30pm on a Saturday? Darts is a night time sport!
A shock for me is Tony O’Shea going out against Martin McCloskey- Tony was one of the big names up for this tournament.
